- Business Value Group (BVG) – insight generation & conceptual service design
- Product Management & Pre-sales (P2) – technological innovation and technical aspect of service design
- Delivery – building new and maintaining existing services
- Client Partner (CP) – sales and client management

Trilogy is looking to hire MBA interns and graduates for the BVG Manager positions.
BVG Manager Responsibilities
- Insight Generation: The BVG Manager is responsible for generating new business insights that can be translated into new Trilogy products. The Manager will be expected to combine exceptional analytics, conceptual and strategic thinking skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills to identify and communicate opportunities for new value creation.
- Business Building: The BVG Manager is responsible for translating business value insights into new products / services (“hills”) for Trilogy. Specifically, the Manager will communicate his or her insights into a compelling and clearly articulated value proposition with a profitable business model and a set of metrics to measure success. The Manager must also partner with leaders from Trilogy’s Product Management and Sales functions to ensure the value proposition is effectively translated into a crisply defined product/service.
- Leadership: The person will be part of the BVG team at Trilogy - which is a high caliber, accomplished team comprised of ex-consultants and industry professionals. He/ she will be expected to play a key role in building a world-class team for Trilogy through leadership in recruiting, training, and ongoing development of the team. (More applicable to full time position).
Interview Process
Trilogy employs a mix of case and fit interviews. We would like to test a candidate’s capabilities by benchmarking them against the BVG capability categories: business analysis and problem solving, communications, business ideation and development, customer relationship building, and leadership. First round interviews will be conducted either on campus or by phone. Second rounds will be held in Austin, TX and will consist of 3-4 interviews.
Desired Skill Set
- Superior Analytical Skills – ability to identify and analyze problems in depth determining root causes and subtle relationships among data, quickly focus on the key issues when solving problems, balancing the need to collect more information with the need to act, generate a variety of possible solutions in response to problems, demonstrate logic and insight in evaluating alternatives to determine practical solutions
- Strong Conceptual and Strategic Thinking – presence of intellectual curiosity, ability to generate provocative ideas and craft a compelling vision, integrate ideas and inputs from different sources to find innovative solution, constructively challenge the status quo, understanding of business drivers and financial levers relevant to potential Trilogy customers, ability to think beyond the day-to-day to take a longer-term perspective on decisions
- Outstanding Communication Skills – ability to clearly articulate business issues and possible solutions, communicate ideas and concepts simply and concisely, engage in conversation with enthusiasm, ability to build trust based relationships with customers as well as internal Trilogy stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial Leadership and Passion – ability to set direction, clearly articulate a strong point of view, influence others, strong desire to succeed in a dynamic and innovative meritocracy with a unique culture that is open, challenging, and hard charging. Candidates should enjoy work environments where all ideas are debated and challenged irrespective of position
