| Trilogy
University
Individuals
hired from campus (BTechs, MTechs, Bachelors, and Masters
students), as well as those hired with less than one
or two years of work experience, enter Trilogy as a
member of the Trilogy University (“TU”)
program. TU is a three to four month total-immersion
program that many view as the most challenging and most
rewarding period of their career.
While
in TU, a new hire gains an understanding of all aspects
of the company – our values, vision, goals, strategy,
technology, and products. A new hire also learns how
we measure success and how he or she will help us achieve
it! TU is designed to maximize a new hire's ability
to develop a network of friends and coworkers, and to
start developing expertise in an area of importance
to the company. But maybe more important than any other
aspect of TU are the projects that drive real innovation
for the company.
You'll discover
that at Trilogy, we believe our new hires are an incredible
source of innovation, talent, and drive. You’ll
also discover that our expectations for each new hire’s
contribution are very high. Each TU class is tasked
with using innovation and technology to drive the execution
of Trilogy's strategy. Previous TU classes have built
new products and even new businesses. Others have driven
Trilogy’s focus on e-commerce. A TU project in
1999 became one of our largest software deals of the
year. As the company intensified its focus on leadership
development the next year, a TU team created a web site
that the company still uses today to communicate our
vision and exchange ideas that drive forward every day.
Within TU,
senior business executives (including our CEO) collaborate
with our newest hires to create innovative solutions
to real business challenges. Though sometimes called
a training program, TU should really be called a “doing”
program because we give each new TUer (the name given
to TU participants) the responsibility to make things
happen from day one. Recognized in a case study for
Harvard Business School and described in an article
in the Harvard Business Review magazine, TU is a program
in which young professionals are proud to have participated.
